Lifestyle

One of the many things my mother has taught me is the importance of pampering myself. Although, I learned good hygiene techniques from my mother, my Debutante program made a major impact on my life as well. In my opinion woman should always smell, look and feel good about themselves. However, I know most women enjoy getting pampered by their husbands but since I am not married, I would like to talk about pampering ourselves without any help.
As women, it really is important to pamper ourselves as this is a great way to give ourselves the gift of relaxation. Unfortunately, stress is a major problem these days, pampering and relaxation which go hand in hand really are a necessity. It’s a fact that women are more susceptible to stress-related symptoms and diseases, so it really is crucial as a woman to learn to pamper ourselves. Now all different women have all different ways of pampering themselves but for myself I focus on self care. For myself, I enjoy visiting the spa to get my nails and toes done, going home taking a long bath, writing out my long/ term goals, reading my current favorite book, fashion magazine, shopping online while relaxing in the bathroom filled with aroma of roses from my favorite candle. After bathing, I moisturize with a floral scent vegan body butter, rose body oil or raw shea butter. I then dress myself in silk pajamas and apply a deep cleansing face mask and relax with a cup of hot tea. Everything mention above is very inexpensive, but one should regularly schedule a day(s) that is just for relaxation only.  Contrary to what we tell ourselves, we do have time for “Me time” by making time to pamper ourselves with no distractions. This gives you time to feel beautiful, meditate, pray, and get in touch with your inner thoughts as a woman. Let’s face it, we all need something to look forward towards during the week that will bring us happiness and there is nothing better than time out for some self care.

Thanks for reading!💗

About Me

Bonjour! Sometimes I feel as though I live in a different time period. My passion for glam, fashion, traveling, food and skin care started at a very young age. Although I grew up in a single parent home, my mother has always taught me the importance of becoming my own boss, etiquette skills, good hygiene, and overall becoming a young lady with self-respect and morals. Before I was born my mother came from a two-parent home with four other children that she is very proud of. My grandfather passed years before I was born however, he left my grandmother and her children two homes and vehicles that my grandmother used before her own passing. I can remember small details about her however, speaking to plenty of people I know for a fact she was very classy, well respected in the community, ambitious, loved fashion, glam and décor just as much as I do. As a small child I always admired women with class specially from the 1940’s until the modern day. I remember falling in love with the fashi...

Food

Hello everyone, I hope you all are enjoying your New Year so far and writing out/ working towards your new goals for this year. Anyway, today makes one year since I gave up the American lifestyle diet and I couldn’t be happier! Over the last year I’ve learned so much about the human body, holistic health, and the truth about the American diet (population control). I understand my lifestyle change is hard for most however, on January 1, 2018 my life changed forever. I pulled out my mom’s ham and the smell that came from the meat was very indescribable. One thing I used to love eating around the holidays was ham dripping in mustard and apricot preservatives (another food on my do not eat list). I put the ham back inside and decided to come back on January 3, 2018 for another try and the smell became unbearable. I decided that day that I was going too fast for two weeks straight with no meat to see if I could last. Well its officially my anniversary and I couldn’t be happier. During m...
